Phoenix Energy Approved Supplier for UNIFIL

Phoenix Energy will supply United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) with renewable energy solutions.


As of July 2012, United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) approved Phoenix Energy, located in Safra, Lebanon, as a supplier of environmentally-friendly biomass boilers and solar water heaters, as well as other renewable energy solutions. In addition to eco-friendly water and domestic heating systems, Phoenix Energy supplies solar outdoor lightsweather centre data loggers, and wind turbine systems.  

UNIFIL evaluates suppliers based on legal, financial, and ethical soundness, as well as on experience, and relevance of goods or services.

About UNIFIL 

United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), established in 1978, acts as a peacekeeper, ensuring stability in Lebanon and protection of the population. UNIFIL aims to restore international peace and security and assist the Lebanese Government in restoring its effective authority in the area. UNIFIL offers aid in making certain that civilian populations have humanitarian access, as well as ensuring the safe and voluntary return of displaced persons.[i]
