As part of INDEVCO’s Women Wellbeing month throughout March, the company held an inspirational live session for all women across INDEVCO Business Units in Lebanon. The session, which was also livestreamed for those who couldn’t attend physically, took place at the company’s premises in Zouk Mosbeh on 8 March 2023.
Martine Zgheib Lakkis, a psychosomatic counselor and certified life coach, shared her inspiring story as a woman and the challenges she endured in life as well as how she overcame them linking to her knowledge and proficiency as an expert in the field.
To embrace equity, the session acknowledged the unique stresses and challenges women face daily, as well as provided a platform for women to openly discuss and share testimonials and pain points in their lives. The session also addressed the rollercoaster of stages that women go through during depression and grief and how to overcome and cope with stressful events. The discussion shed light on women’s mental health and its significance, as well as her power and influence on her family and surroundings.
At the end, participants were reminded that with determination, willpower, a positive mindset and attitude, women can overcome any challenges they encounter.
