ISC launched a heartfelt initiative aimed at bringing joy, warmth, and hope to families in need. Through visits to Zgharta, Batroun, and Bouar, team members distributed Christmas gifts to children, creating moments filled with smiles, laughter, and genuine human connection. These simple yet powerful gestures transformed the holiday season into a shared celebration of kindness, felt both by the families and the team members themselves.
This initiative strongly reflected INDEVCO’s core values of family spirit, modesty, and servant leadership. It served as a meaningful reminder that caring for one another lies at the heart of who we are, and that even the smallest acts of generosity can leave a lasting impact on the lives of others.
The experience resonated deeply with everyone involved.
Lolitta Dib shared:
“It made me feel grateful. Seeing their appreciation reminded me how important kindness is. It felt good to know that something small I did could make a difference for someone else.”
Rita Assaf reflected:
“My heart felt quietly heavy with sadness for their need. My tears were held back by the realization that so little could mean so much, and that shared humanity can shine brightest in the darkest moments.”
Joseph Eid expressed simply:
“I felt that the joy of Christmas is to give others.”
Joseph Boutros added:
“It was a truly heartwarming experience. The child we visited appreciated what we did, and after this visit, I learned to truly appreciate what we have. We managed to make that child a little bit happier, even if it was a small impact, and that’s the true meaning of Christmas”.
Lea Karam concluded:
“Seeing the kids’ smiles this Christmas filled me with joy, warmth, and a reminder that even small acts of kindness can mean so much. This feeling is going to stay with me for a long time.”
Through simple, thoughtful actions, ISC team demonstrated that living our values is not about grand gestures but about meaningful moments that touch lives.
