MicroMB by Micro Epsilon announces the expansion of its Polymer Processing Aid (PPA) portfolio with the introduction of new PFAS-free solutions designed for polyethylene and polypropylene extrusion applications requiring stable processing performance and future-ready manufacturing strategies.
The newly developed masterbatch additives build on MicroMB’s established PPA technologies, which are engineered to reduce die pressure, eliminate melt fracture, decrease die-build-up and improve line speed that increase production efficiency across demanding extrusion environments.
Supporting a PFAS-Restricted Future
As global regulations surrounding fluorinated chemistries continue evolving, manufacturers are increasingly seeking alternatives that align with sustainability and compliance objectives while maintaining operational reliability.
MicroMB’s PFAS-free PPAs are fluorine-free and siloxane-free for polymer processing that can achieve the performance of conventional fluorochemical products across a broad range of polyethylene and polypropylene processing applications.
The solutions support applications including blown film, blow/injection molding, sheets extrusion, wire and cable coating, serving industries such as flexible packaging, agriculture films, construction and infrastructure, and consumer products manufacturing.
