Sanita Beaufort Wins Second Place in ‘H.H. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Saud Award for SME’

In line with Sanita Beaufort RAK‘s strive for excellence, the hygiene disposable products manufacturer based in Ras Al Khaimah took part in “His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Saud Award for Small and Medium Enterprises”. The eminent jury recognized Sanita Beaufort RAK for high-quality management, operations, and work environment at a ceremony held at the Hilton Hotel in Ras Al Khaimah on 28 January 2014.

The jury evaluated over 100 participants and conducted audits at each applicant company, covering ISO quality management systems, management style, turnover, sales, and production, as well as working conditions and employee treatment. The 2^nd edition of “His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Saud Award for Small and Medium Enterprises” featured 2013 theme: ‘The rising stars of SME’.

About ‘His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Saud Award for Small and Medium Enterprises’

Launched in 2012 by the Department of Economic Development, under the joint patronage of H.H. Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasmi and H.H. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Saud, the prestigious award acknowledges achievements and sheds light on top local SME’s to set example for the business community. The award aims to increase the role of small and medium enterprises in manufacturing, trading, and service sectors in Ras Al Khaimah.

Applicant evaluation process:

After nominations close in December, the award jury screens applications for eligibility, category, and completeness of information. The jury then shortlists applicants based on initial parameters and requests further information. The jury evaluates additional information, visits establishments, and conducts interviews to make the final selection.
