Sanita, Lebanese hygiene disposable and household products manufacturer, sponsored this year’s Al Younbouh annual walk on 11 May 2014 at Fouad Chehab Stadium in Jounieh, Lebanon. As part of its mission, ‘what is good for the community is good for the company’, Sanita supports mentally disabled adults in their journey towards social integration.
During ‘Walk with Al Younbouh’, Sanita representatives met with participants at Sanita’s stand. Sanita promoted hygiene and eco-friendliness at the event by distributing pocket tissue samples branded ‘Shuf Hallak bi Loubnan’ and new Sanita hand sanitizer in blue eco-friendly plastic bags.
Organizers, donors, students, celebrities, sponsors and all believers in the strengths and abilities of Al Younbouh students gathered in Fouad Chehab Stadium and walked together throughout the old streets of Jounieh. Popular Lebanese TV host, Toni Baroud presented the opening ceremony which featured entertainment and musical performances by well known local artists.
The event focused on raising awareness about Al Younbouh, a non-residential rehabilitation center for people with mental disabilities and special needs based in Haret Sakher, Jounieh. This humanitarian organization strives to improve its students’ integration in society and quality of their lives.
