For the second consecutive year, Sanita, leading hygiene disposables manufacturer in the Middle East, joined top corporations throughout the region in Beirut Corporate Games (BCG) 2013, a friendly sporting event organized by Sport Evasion and Stafford Associates. BCG took place from 18 – 19 May 2013 at Notre Dame de Jamhour premises in Lebanon.
BCG event offers over 44 games encompassing a wide array of categories for men and women. Sanita team participated in basketball, IQ tests, marathons, archery, tennis, bag race, etc… The 2-day event brought together employees and executives from local, regional, and international companies, to compete in a fun non-corporate atmosphere.
Sanita team comprised of employees from accounting, sales, and marketing departments, dressed in corporate branded t-shirts and hats with the slogan ‘Dmou3al men Ikhtisasna’ (Your Tears are our Specialty), comically reflecting the teams competitive spirit.
Two Sanita team members won medals for their efforts:
Mhamad Adra
Sanita – Zouk Mosbeh, Lebanon plant
‘Basketball-Points’ game
Award: Bronze medal
Condition: Participants shoot 9 basketballs from 3 difference locations in the court
Mhamad Samrout
Sanita – Halat, Lebanon plant
Athletics – 100 meters run
Award: Bronze medal
Condition: Participants are to complete the run in the best time
At the sporting event, Sanita representatives also distributed samples of pocket tissue, wet wipes, and Freshdays Sports panty liners for athletic women.
