As part of INDEVCO Group’s ongoing commitment to employee wellbeing and preventive health, the Global Communications & Sustainability Department organized a dedicated Men’s Health Awareness Session on Wednesday 19 November, at INDEVCO headquarters in Zouk Mosbeh.
Employees from across all divisions were invited and actively participated, reflecting the Group’s collective engagement in fostering a healthier, more informed workplace community.
The session featured two expert speakers who addressed key men’s health topics.
Dr. Paul Alam, Attending Urologist at LAU Medical Center – Saint John Hospital, discussed the importance of prostate cancer early detection, routine screening, major risk factors, available treatments, and common misconceptions surrounding prostate health.
Dr. Chady El Tawil, Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine at McGill University and Université de Montréal, highlighted “Emergencies Men Tend to Ignore”, outlining the acute conditions men often overlook, the warning signs that require immediate attention, and the critical need for timely medical intervention.
This initiative forms part of the broader Movember campaign, which advocates men’s physical and mental health. Through such efforts, INDEVCO aims to empower its employees with the knowledge and tools to lead healthier lives today and for the future.
