For the fourth year in a row, INDEVCO supports the Lebanese tourism sector by sponsoring one of Lebanon’s major summer festivals attracting international participation annually. Organized by the non-profit organization, Phelliopolis, and the Municipality of Jounieh, under the supervision of the Ministry of Tourism, Jounieh International Festival 2014 will take place from 27 June -13 July 2014 throughout the city of Jounieh.
The multinational Lebanese manufacturing group, INDEVCO will join efforts with other sponsors to promote this year’s Jounieh International Festival 2014, which will be executed by ICE International event in collaboration with 2U2C and Star System.
Jounieh International Festival 2014
Jounieh International Festival 2014 features musical performances by internationally and regionally renowned artists. On 27June, Jounieh Municipality will host an opening ceremony followed by a 7-minute show of synchronized fireworks that will light the cost of Jounieh bay. Also, a photography contest for best fireworks photo will be held in the hours following the show, in addition to numerous boat events.
On 4 July, Kids and Family Day at Jounieh will allow people of all ages to ride their bicycles, roller blades and skateboards along the coastal area of the city. On 5 and 6 July, Jounieh International Festival 2014 will present, for the second year in a row, ‘Green Day’ event to raise environmental awareness and encourage people to adopt eco-friendly activities in their daily lives.
Jounieh International Festival 2014 performances include:
- 2 July: Elias Rahbani, who along with his Orchestra will perform a selection of his Arabic singles
- 3 July: ZAZ, French singer and song-writer known for her unique blend of jazz, French, soul and acoustic music, will perform some of her famous songs
- 7 July: Imagine Dragons, Grammy award winners for Best Rock Performance, will present their hit songs as part of their “Into the Night” world tour
- 10 July: Performances from the finalists of the “Voice Tour 2014”
