INDEVCO sister companies, UNIPAK and Masterpak will co-sponsor Lebanon Student StarPack contest 2014 launched by LibanPack, under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Hussein Hajj Hassan, Lebanese Minister of Industry. Lebanon Student StarPack will take place on 13 May 2014 at UNESCO palace in Beirut, Lebanon. The student packaging contest will extend to neighboring Arab countries including Jordan and Egypt.
INDEVCO Paper Containers Strategy and Continuous Improvement Manager, Dani El-Khoury, will join 2014’s judging panelists to recognize and endorse visual and structural innovations and designs that develop the packaging industry. Winners of the yearly contest will receive vouchers and cash prizes offered by the event’s sponsors.

LibanPack will hold an exhibition following the award ceremony to showcase designs submitted by students. As platinum sponsors, UNIPAK and Masterpak will meet with participants during the exhibition to promote packaging progress.
About Lebanon Student StarPack
In 2013, approximately 1,200 persons attended the award ceremony of Lebanon Student StarPack. Attendees include Ambassadors, Ministers, leading professionals from food and packaging industries, as well as representatives of private and public sector associations, non-governmental organizations, academia, students and LibanPack members. In addition to a live musical performance by the renowned Lebanese violinist Jihad Akl, Lebanon Student StarPack 2013 received notable media coverage from magazines, newspapers and talk shows on channels such as MTV and LBC.
