Unipak, member of INDEVCO Paper Containers Division, sponsored Mayrouba festival that took place from 18 – 26 August 2012. In line with community support initiatives, the corrugated packaging manufacturer promoted local farmer businesses by distributing corrugated carton boxes for packing and displaying fresh fruits and vegetables.
Unipak manufactures agricultural product packaging including bulk bins, open-top trays and top and bottom boxes for growers, processors and packers of various types of fresh produce.
About Mayrouba Festival 2012
Mayrouba Festival 2012, inaugurated under the presence of the Lebanese Republic President, Michel Sleiman, consisted of a show from Al-Maghawir and the musical participation of the Lebanese Army. The festival program featured musical nights hosting prominent Lebanese artists and DJs, and zajal nights with recognized poets, as well as Baalbaki nights covering horses, camels and Escrime shows.
The event also included daily exhibitions for “Maarad Ziraai, Herafi wa Sinaai”; as well as performances from Cirque du Liban and theatre kids play performed by “Ghinwa”.
