Masterpak, Lebanese co-extruded polyethylene (PE) film manufacturer, participated in an agricultural seminar organized by Bluefiled Co., under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture in Baghdad, Iraq, to highlight the benefits of quality plastic films in plant development and environment preservation. Serving the Iraqi market and looking to further tailor to grower needs in the country, Masterpak presented during the workshop with the Ministry of Agriculture in efforts to further explore market needs and offer tailored plastic solutions via Bluefield Co. to the Iraqi market.

During the seminar on 17 January 2017, Mr. Bassam Bou Samra, Masterpak Product Manager, provided an overview of the importance of Masterpak’s agricultural film portfolio: greenhouse covers, mulch films, low tunnel films, as well as solar disinfection films. Bou Samra explained the added-value of Masterpak’s range of plastic films on implementing the right growing conditions for vegetables and plants, as well on improving grower yield.
Masterpak shared its key role in the plastic and agricultural industry explaining its technologically advanced processes and industry know-how to produce high-quality and consistent plastic films to serve customer specific needs.
The presentation, focused on Masterpak broad experience in the agriculture sector, assessed the Iraqi market needs and answered attendee questions through an open Q&A.
