As part of its 2023 Beach Clean Up initiative, INDEVCO partnered with SWIM Lebanon, Sustainable Waste Intercity Marathon (SWIM), to collect waste across the Amchit shore in Jbeil, Lebanon. The initiative took place on Sunday, 17 September in line with International World Clean Up Day.
SWIM Lebanon’s national beach clean-up initiative aligns with the Ministry of the Environment’s ‘Clean Your Country’ (نظّف بلدك) campaign.
INDEVCO Beach Clean-Up initiative fostered care for the environment, encouraged employee participation, and engaged youth. INDEVCO employees, with their families, participated in cleaning the coastline and promoted good habits and behaviors, especially among the youth who will contribute directly to a cleaner and healthier ecosystem in the future. In addition, member company, Sanita, donated garbage bags and gloves to support the cause.
