Energy Management:
Within the plant, Unipak Tissue Mill installed new machinery that are more power efficient and conserve unneeded energy use. In 2011, Unipak Tissue Mill received the Best Energy Efficiency award from Lebanon Opportunities National Achievement Awards for Industry.
Water management:
At the plant in Egypt, Interstate Paper Industries launched an ongoing project to reduce fresh water consumption by 55 %.
