Private and Freshdays, disposable feminine hygiene brands in the Middle East, worked with King Hussein Cancer Foundation & Center to inform university students about breast cancer and promote healthy lifestyles from 21 – 29 October 2013 in Amman, Jordan.

Private Brand & King Hussein Cancer Foundation & Center Awareness Campaign
As part of the pink campaign, representatives from Private brand and the King Hussein Breast Cancer Center set up booths at 4 universities in Jordan: University of Petra, American University of Madaba, German Jordanian University, and Middle East University.
The campaign aimed to educate college students on the importance of early detection and the necessary precautions to prevent cancer. A doctor and dietitian from the King Hussein Breast Cancer center were available at booths to give detailed tips on breast cancer and nutritional facts.
Representatives distributed breast self-exam brochures and Private Feminine napkin and Freshdays pantyliner samples, as well as pens, flyers and folders.
About King Hussein Cancer Center
Founded in 1997 by a Royal Decree, the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit institution dedicated to combating cancer in Jordan and the Middle East region.
King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) is a medical center in Amman, Jordan that treats young and older patients with different types of cancers. KHCC also increases cancer awareness and educates the public on ways to detect it. [1]
About Private Brand
Private feminine sanitary napkin brand includes Private Maxi, Private Extra Thin, Private Maxi Pocket, and Private Miss Teen sanitary napkins, as well as Freshdays and Freshdays Sports panty liners. Private is produced by Sanita in Halat, Lebanon.
