INDEVCO signed a new agreement with the European Institute for Cooperation and Development (IECD) to provide students training and prepare them for the work environment.

INDEVCO signed a one-year agreement, renewable upon written mutual agreement, with IECD on Wednesday, 26 October 2022 at INDEVCO Headquarters in Zouk Mosbeh, Lebanon. As part of this agreement, INDEVCO will train and develop the skills of IECD students from three technical schools in Edde, Cortbawi, and Ajaltoun located in Keserwan-Jbeil area.

INDEVCO will visit the schools to give the students empowering sessions on how to succeed and thrive in the business world. INDEVCO will also open its doors throughout the year for the students to visit its manufacturing plants for a better understanding of the working environment.

Furthermore, INDEVCO will provide internship programs for technical students to help them acquire and develop hands-on experience. Based on performance, these students will be eligible for full-time employment at INDEVCO companies.  

The agreement happened in the presence of INDEVCO HR leaders, member company General Managers, and Vice Presidents, IECD Country Director, Project Manager, and Coordinator, and Directors and Employment Officers from each of the technical schools.

INDEVCO’s collaboration with IECD will help strengthen youth knowledge and skills, preparing them to the workplace and increasing their employment opportunities in line with our commitment to empower youth.
