On 5 December 2019, INDEVCO visited the UoB campus in Koura, Lebanon, to sign an agreement of cooperation to conduct research and exchange expertise. The MoU will provide Balamand students training and skill building opportunities at INDEVCO companies in Lebanon. The agreement will also enhance both university and INDEVCO research and development capabilities.
Representing INDEVCO during the MOU signing, Vice President of Human Resources & Organizational Development, Wissam Moubarak, and Recruitment Manager, Fadi Younes joined UoB representatives Rami Abboud, Vice President for Internationalization & Engagement and Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Walid Moubayed, Acting Dean of Admissions & Registration & Student Affairs, Dr. Rima Manneh, Chairperson – Chemical Engineering and Diala Farah, Director – Career Services Center.
INDEVCO HR representatives toured the campus, visiting the most recent Engineering laboratories including those in the Department of Chemical Engineering, the Center for Geographic Information Systems, and the Al-Zaani Center for Industrial and Engineering Research Technology.
INDEVCO is committed to empower youth through partnering with universities and supporting students to reduce unemployment and enhance industrial research achievements.
