INDEVCO’s L&LD developed ‘My First Training’ in 2022, a full-day workshop designed to provide newcomers with essential soft and core technical skills needed when joining INDEVCO. This training standardizes used business language as the foundation to build communication on. Throughout 2022, L&LD team trained over 100 newcomers across seven training sessions on 9 September, 14, 20, and 28 October, and 4, 11, and 18 November.
Delivered by internal INDEVCO trainers, ‘My First Training’ offers a practical and in-class learning experience, available either in English, Arabic or Greek languages. The course helps employees acquire various skills including accountability, communication, planning, and basic knowledge of business etiquette, safety, and inclusion. This training targets entry-level and junior-level new employees, regardless of their field of expertise. It is also open for any other employees who find it useful to their current role.
INDEVCO works towards empowering employees with the needed workplace skills and knowledge to help them continuously improve and grow in line with INDEVCO’s value revolving around servant leadership. This aligns with its commitment to the United Nations sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8 for Quality Work and Economic Empowerment.
