In celebration of the national day of Spain, UNIPAK co-sponsored a reception held by the Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon, Milagros Hernando, on 10 October 2015 at the Spanish embassy in the Chehab Palace in Beirut, Lebanon. UNIPAK provided recycling bins for this event, promoting a clean environment and spreading awareness during the event.
At the reception, the Ambassador of Spain shared her country’s history, emphasizing on the interaction between languages, as well as arts and civilizations, especially in Latin America. Hernando closed her speech by thanking the Lebanese community for helping the Spanish embassy prosper in Lebanon.
