Phoenix Energy will participate from 17 – 19 September 2014 in Beirut Energy Forum at Le Royal Hotel Beirut – Dbayeh. Among the leading renewable energy events in the region, Beirut Energy Forum will offer Phoenix Energy representatives a platform to meet with attendees and discuss the benefits of photovoltaic (PV) power system at Booth #11.
Photovoltaic power system is a large-to medium-scale system designed to provide energy to meet customers’ electrical needs. The photovoltaic power system reduces diesel consumption and electrical bill. This eco-friendly product provides energy that can be used for electrical distribution, as well as to power up houses, facilities, industries, etc…
During the 5th edition of the annual exhibition, representatives of Phoenix Energy will also showcase the Beirut River Solar Snake (BRSS) project in which the renewable energy products supplier joined sister companyPhoenix Machinery and other local and international companies to execute Phase One.
The first phase of the BRSS project commenced in Q1 2014, with the installation of one photovoltaic (PV) farm of 1 MW on the Beirut River. Phoenix – ASACO joint venture expects to complete phase one by end 2014. The PV on-grid solution is connected to and supports ‘Electricite du Liban’ (EDL) supply energy to the country. Lebanese Ministry of Energy and Water funded the project through the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC).
The entire BRSS project ‘will cover 7 Km of Beirut River with Photovoltaic (PV) Panels to generate 10 MW of energy and provide electricity for 10,000 houses’.
