Barium sulfate (BaSO4) is a high-purity inorganic compound manufactured in a carefully controlled processing environment, suitable for PP, PE, PS and ABS plastic products.
This high concentration synthetic additive used either as a TiO2 extender or as a filler for plastic, increases the density of the polymer. Recommended for thick applications, BaSo4 improves dispersing and optimizes flow properties, resulting in an efficient hiding power and easy processing.
At MicroMB, we offer high stability Barium Sulfate products with excellent dispersion, suitable for injection molding and extrusion profiles and sheets applications. These additives are suitable for a wide range of end products, such as sound shells, helmets, sound box, plastic curtain, toy bullets, gym shoes and shells of home appliances.
In addition to that, MicroMB Barium Sulfate compound is used for Polypropylene (PP) pipes insulation, used to reduce the noise of floating water inside.
