Sanita, through its Happies baby diaper brand, sponsored a second ‘Health & Wellbeing in Pregnancy’ seminar, organized by clinical dietitian, Mira Abed Rabbo. The seminar took place at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Hamra on 17 May 2017, as part of a series of seminars aimed at empowering and educating pregnant women in Lebanon.
The seminar brought together over a dozen expectant mothers with specialists Abed Rabbo, Dr. Zahra Sadek, Physiotherapist; Farah Kanj, Midwife; and Abir Chammah, Life Coach. Participants learned breastfeeding and baby care tips, how to stay fit and control pregnancy weight, and how to alleviate birth fear and stress. They also received Happies “Baby First Experience Kit” with post-birth necessities, including Happies newborn baby diapers, wet wipes, and toiletries.
A continuation of last year’s Sanita Happies’ breastfeeding awareness program, the seminars align with Sanita’s social responsibility objective to promote Women’s Health and Wellbeing, which aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal SDG 3: Good Health & Well-Being.
