Masterpak Earns AENOR Certification of Conformity for Recycled Plastic Content

Masterpak acquired four AENOR’s Product Certifications (ISO/IEC 17065:2012) on 10 November 2023. The certifications confirm that Masterpak has implemented a system that ensures:

1. Up to 90% recycled plastic content used in the transformation of the following plastic products: Polyethylene (PE) bags (garbage bags & cover bags), stretch film, and agrifilm (silage & mulch).
2. Up to 70% of recycled plastic content used in its PE bags (garbage bags & cover bags) and agrifilm (silage & mulch) products.
3. Up to 40% of recycled plastic content used in its PE top cover sheets
4. Up to 30% of recycled plastic content used in its PE shrink collation, stretch film, and agrifilm (silage & mulch) products.

What is AENOR?

AENOR is an accredited certification body by Entidad Nacional de Acreditación (ENAC), the national accreditation body in Spain, member of European Accreditation (EA), following the scheme of the UNE-EN ISO 17065. This certification is carried out in accordance with the UNE-EN 15343 Plastics standard which offers a certification system for the recycled plastic content used in a plastic transformation process.
