Lebanese consumer disposables manufacturer, Sanita, through its baby care Happies brand, sponsored a ‘Health & Wellbeing in Pregnancy’ workshop on 18 March 2017 at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Hamra. Organized by Clinical Dietician Mira Abed Rabbo, the seminar exposed expectant mothers to breastfeeding and baby care tips, as well as how to control pregnancy weight, safely exercise during pregnancy, and relieve birth fear. Other specialists presenting during the seminar included Dr. Zahra Sadek, Physiotherapist; Farah Kanj, Midwife; and Abir Chammah, Life Coach.
An extension of Sanita’s Happies’ breastfeeding awareness program last year, the seminar falls within Sanita’s social objective to promote Women’s Health and Wellbeing and aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal SDG 3: Good Health & Well-Being. Participants received Happies “Baby First Experience Kit” or “Mommy Beginners Kit” with such post-childbirth necessities as Happies newborn baby diapers, wet wipes, and toiletries.
