On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, USEK students attended a comprehensive logistics training session facilitated by Mr. Joseph Chemaly, the Global Logistics Operations Senior Manager at SeaPera – Indevco Supply Chain.
As a seasoned professional and USEK alumnus, Mr. Chemaly brought a wealth of experience to the workshop, aiming to equip students with practical knowledge and expertise in global logistics operations. The event emphasized real-world challenges and solutions within the supply chain industry, helping students connect their academic studies to professional careers.
Throughout the session, Mr. Chemaly shared industry’s best practices, discussed emerging trends in logistics, and addressed the critical skills needed to succeed in the field. He guided students through the role of the INDEVCO Group and SeaPera, explained the operations of sea, air, and land freight services, and outlined the key steps involved in managing shipments from order placement to final delivery. The workshop highlighted how classroom concepts—such as supply chain flow, Incoterms, and coordination—are applied in everyday logistics scenarios.
